61 KNOTS PEAK SPEED!!! We just had news from Vestas Sailrocket 2 team in Namibia, who have given us the (unofficial) news that the 60-knot bottle of champagne needs to be opened! Peak speed 61.92 knots. 500 meter average 54.08 knots. Wow! More news on Paul's blog about official stats and ratified records. We are so proud to be part of the Sailrocket design team, our faces hurt from smiling.
