British artist Luke Jerram enlisted Aerotrope to realise his new project, "Aeolus- Acoustic Wind Pavilion". Using ancient technology of the Aeolian Harp he proposes an omnidirectional structure that will sonify the surrounding landscape of wind. The public will be able to experience the fascinating soundscape in a variety of settings. Jerram staged his first experiments with a dustbin and some fishing wire; Aerotrope lend their expertise to the concept development at stage two of the project, which entailed full scale structural and acoustic engineering of this ambitious art work.
